Despatch Supervisor - Kinleith Hub

Thisis a great opportunity to lead a small team at our busy Kinleith Hub site whilealso managing several tasks at any one time to meet and exceed delivery targetsand drive positive customer relationships. Reporting into the Distribution Manager, this position ensures the safeand smooth running of all the trucking, despatching and warehousing of plywoodand timber finished products.

Youwill manage external relationships with our transport service providers and beresponsible for data entry of daily order information into SAP and MSapplications for both domestic and international deliveries. The role is a mixof both office administration and the need to work in the yard to managestaff, for quality purposes to check delivery of loads, provide progressreports and report any issues. You will be driving continuous improvement ofthis function.

Thisis a Monday to Friday role, 40 hours per week. Managing two shifts so some flexibility in hours will be required.

You will bring :

• Despatch ormanufacturing industry experience
• Strongverbal and written communication skills to work across departments including supplychain, stores and third-party transport providers
• Excellenttime management and leadership skills
• Previousexperience with SAP would be beneficial, but we’re moving to Business Central laterin the year
• Be a stronghealth and safety presence through leadership and demonstration
• Accurate recordkeeping for inventory management and effective stock rotation
• Soundproblem solving skills
• Provideexcellent customer service
• Ability tothink ahead and forward plan
• Forkliftendorsement is desirable but not essential
