Our specialist Medical Imaging facilities are based out of our new Te Whaioranga Health Facility, which includes fully operational X-ray equipment.We are looking for someone with up-to-date knowledge and experience in the field of Medical Imaging who will inspire and support our akonga (students) to succeed.

Responsibilities

Work closely with a broad variety of students, being part of their growth and development.

Contribute to good teaching and assessment practice.

Apply your knowledge and experience to teaching and course design.

Collaborate with our key stakeholders, and

Have the opportunity to engage in research that contributes to the education of our akonga and the advancement of the profession.

Qualifications

Require a minimum of a degree qualification in Medical Imaging Technology with industry experience, along with current New Zealand MRTB registration.

Have some experience in supervising Medical Imaging akonga within the clinical setting

Experience in tertiary education would be an advantage but not essential.

Postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Role and Work Arrangements

UCOL supports our MIT staff to ensure they can take their annual leave, including over Christmas and New Year, maintain their APC and has flexible working opportunities for staff to have an enhanced work-life balance.

While this role is full-time, we will consider part-time applications.
