Join Pattle Delamore Partners Limited as a Graduate Water Resources Scientist, contributing to diverse environmental projects with a leading NZ consultancy.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing :
- Assisting with field investigations including supervision of drilling, field permeability tests (slug tests), pumping tests, stream flow gauging, groundwater quality sampling, and level monitoring.
- Processing and interpreting field data.
- Analysing data using advanced computer software and spreadsheet programmes.
- Preparing hydrogeological cross-sections.
- Assisting senior professionals with groundwater conceptual modelling and data preparation for numerical modelling.
- Preparing technical reports and corresponding with suppliers, contractors, and clients.
- Providing turn-key solutions from initial conversation to proposal, development, and successful completion.
- Preparing and reviewing technical input into resource consent applications.
- Applying company policies in health and safety, quality, administration, and technical procedures.
About You
The company is looking for :
Degree in Geoscience, Environmental Science, Chemical or Natural Resources Engineering, with a focus on hydrogeology, geology, geomorphology, or hydrochemistry.Ability to multi-task across a range of projects.Ability to provide pragmatic solutions to complex issues.Good technical report writing, data analysis, and management skills.Great people skills and an appetite to learn new things.A can-do, team-player attitude.Willingness to work for periods in remote locations and ability to travel within New Zealand.Compensation & Benefits
