From the tail of the fish to the tail of the waka, shines the sun.Mo te turanga | What you'll be doingMaintaining and servicing 62 wind turbines at our West Wind site, situated thirty minutes from the Wellington CBD.Each day, you'll carry out scheduled services and reactive maintenance on several of the turbines on site, which can generate enough electricity to power about 78,000 average New Zealand homes.
You will also be required to respond to reactive fault finding and monitoring outside of normal working hours on a rostered basis.Your peers are a team of multi-disciplined Wind Maintenance Technicians who work hard to keep our turbines in great shape.
With the support of the Team Lead, you will work safely to deliver on our maintenance plan consisting of electrical, hydraulic, and other key mechanical equipment.In addition to your day-to-day activities, you will be open to development opportunities, growing your trade knowledge and experience as you progress through our competency framework.
