Permanent, full-time (1.0FTE) role based at the AUT North Campus, Akoranga, North Shore
We are seeking an experienced Podiatrist, with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience and a current APC to join our small and passionate clinical teaching team.
Responsibilities
Your role will primarily be the education of podiatry undergraduate students in the AUT Integrated Health clinic.
However, there will also be the opportunity to be involved in research and to work interprofessionally with a range of experts.
You will be expected to share your expertise with the students, facilitate student learning in the clinical setting, encourage problem-solving, effective participation within the team and reflective practice within the student group, give encouraging feedback to students and assess individual student progress against preset criteria.

Qualifications
Registration with the Podiatry Board of New Zealand
A current Annual Practising Certificate
An undergraduate degree or higher
Experience in working in the healthcare industry in New Zealand
Demonstrated understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and their application in healthcare education
Experience in culturally responsive teaching practices
Strong commitment to cultural safety in healthcare education
