Third Wheel Coffee Co. is a cozy café tucked away in Paihia, known for its specialty coffee, home-baked treats, & strong connections.

We’re looking for 2 experienced Chefs.

Ideal candidate should have Strong baking skills & minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen; excellent understanding of food safety & hygiene practices; physical fitness & good character; flexibility as Industry works 24x7 all days of the year including weekends, public holidays & school holidays as per business demands.

• Preparing and presenting a simple, high-quality cabinet menu that complements our coffee.
• Preparing Sourdoughs & other breads, Pastries and Croissants
• Helping develop new recipes and seasonal menu items that reflect our values and customer demand.
• Always keeping the kitchen area clean including doing the dishes, moping, etc.
• Managing stock, ordering, and reducing food waste.
• Always ensuring food safety and health & safety compliance.
• Supporting the front-of-house when needed – from clearing dishes to taking customer orders – and always delivering exceptional hospitality.
