About the Role :

Are you an experienced Sonographer seeking a new challenge?

Join a close-knit, supportive team in a well-established imaging practice located in the heart of New Zealand's Central North Island. This is a full-time role with no weekend or shift work, giving you the work-life balance you've been looking for.

Working alongside one other Sonographer as part of a close-knit team of eight, you will cover a diverse caseload that includes general ultrasound, small parts, musculoskeletal and obstetric scanning.

Key Responsibilities :

• High-quality diagnostic ultrasound scans across a range of specialties with precision and professionalism
• Provide clear, compassionate explanations to patients, helping them feel informed and at ease during procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting, adhering to clinical best practices and professional standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, fellow sonographers, and the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain a patient-first approach, prioritising comfort, dignity, and care throughout the imaging process

Skills and Experience :

• NZ MRTB Registration with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) is essential
• Minimum of one year's experience in ultrasound
• MSK ultrasound experience preferred, but not essential
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Overseas applicants are welcome, provided they already hold current NZ registration (supervision hours can be supported if required)
