About The Role

NZ MRTB Registration required - Applicants must already hold a current NZ registration. Supervision hours can be accommodated.

Are you an experienced Sonographer looking for a fresh start? Join a close-knit, supportive team in the Central North Island, where you'll enjoy a Monday-Friday, full-time role- no weekends or shift work. You'll be working alongside one other Sonographer, as part of a tight-knit team of eight, covering a mix of general, small parts, MSK, and obstetric ultrasound. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound scans with precision and professionalism
  • Provide clear, informative explanations to patients about their procedures
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in line with best practices
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, sonographers, and the wider healthcare team
  • Maintain a strong patient-first approach, ensuring comfort and care during examinations

    • Skills And Experience

  • NZ MRTB Registration with a current APC (essential)
  • At least one year of experience in ultrasound
  • MSK ultrasound experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, multidisciplinary setting
  • Overseas applicants are welcome if they already hold a current NZ registration-supervision hours can be accommodated
