Responsibilities
Build strong, caring relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider community
Approach teaching with positivity, resilience, and a strong work ethic
Show culturally responsive pedagogy in their practice
Have competency in Te Reo Maori
Display excellent teaching pedagogy that impacts achievement - experience with structured literacy is an advantage.
Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment, sharing ideas and supporting colleagues
Bring a sense of fun to the classroom, creating an engaging and inspiring place to learn.
Have a knowledge of trauma-informed practices.
