Credit Controller

OverviewRole : Credit ControllerLocation : WarringtonSalary : £24,500 - £27,500 per annumWe are seeking a Credit Controller to join our Site Accommodation team in Warrington.

Working as part of the team, your role will be to manage debtors to pre-legal stage in order to maximise cash flow, minimise the risk of bad debt, deliver excellent customer service, maintain good working relationships with commercial areas and encourage profitable trading.ResponsibilitiesProcess new applications for credit received from clientsMaintain customer master and credit information in SAP as necessaryEnsure that monthly or ad hoc statements are sent to customers as necessaryEnsure that overdue reminder letters are sent to all customers where appropriate and telephone reminders are given for overdue accounts as per the department timetableEnsure that account reconciliations are completed where necessary in order to ensure agreement with our customers ledgersIdentify, flag and monitor invoices which are held in dispute and ensure they are resolved by the relevant personnelManagement of purchase orders with client as and when necessaryPrepare bad debt provision at month endWeekly ledger reviews to highlight focus areas to target cash collectionDaily updates on cash for finance to update relevant areasBenefits & Opportunities25 days holiday plus bank holidays, option to buy 5 daysWorking flexibly principlesContributory pensionAnnual bonusAccess to dedicated health and wellbeing servicesAnnual volunteering day off and fully funded professional qualificationsGreat opportunity for career progression within PortakabinIdeal CandidateWe are looking for someone who has : Experience in managing a debt ledger, analysing ageing items and allocating transactions in a fast paced organisationExperience of handling customer queries and working as a teamA good level of experience with Microsoft including Excel and WordAbility to deliver business performance through influencing, customer focus and working with others to meet targetsAnalytical thinking and enjoys problem solvingWhy Portakabin?
