Well… we’re looking for one of those people.

We’re relatively new in Australia, but we’ve already built serious momentum. The partnerships are in place, the product has great positioning, and the pipeline is growing fast. Now we need an experienced Account Executive to take the lead and drive that momentum further, owning the entire sales cycle from the moment a lead lands to the moment it becomes a Loaded customer.

You’ll manage every step of the process : qualifying leads from inbound, partner, and outbound sources; running discovery calls and demos that make hospitality operators sit up and pay attention; negotiating confidently; and closing deals that grow both our revenue and our reputation.

This is your show. You’ll run it end to end, ensuring every lead has a world‑class experience that reflects who we are at Loaded.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle : qualify, demo, negotiate, and close new business.
  • Manage leads from all sources including inbound, partner, event, and outbound.
  • Hit and exceed monthly revenue targets by combining process, energy, and your experienced skill set.
  • Bring our story to life for hospitality operators across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Collaborate closely with partnerships, marketing, and customer success to ensure every new customer hits the ground running.
  • Represent Loaded in market by attending events, meeting partners, visiting venues, and growing our presence across the industry.

About Loaded

At Loaded , we know hospitality is about more than serving food and drinks. It’s about experiences, connection, and craft.

We started not in tech, but in the kitchens and dining rooms of a 12‑site hospitality group in New Zealand. Frustrated by clunky ineffective systems, we built our own tools to manage and grow our business better. That solution became Loaded , a hospitality back‑office platform now powering thousands of venues across New Zealand, Australia and the UK.

Our all‑in‑one platform gives hospo teams real‑time insights into sales, labour, and inventory , helping them run more profitable, more enjoyable businesses.

    A bit of detail about the role

    In this role, your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include the following :

  • Running compelling demos over Zoom.
  • Managing follow‑ups (phone, email, text messages etc.).
  • Converting interested hospitality businesses into paying customers.
  • Through all of the above, build and maintain strong, long‑lasting industry relationships.
  • Managing active pipeline and keeping our forecasts clean and accurate.
  • Passing to the Success team to ensure the best possible onboarding and implementation experience.
  • Regularly reporting key sales metrics like revenue, average deal size, conversion rates, and sales velocity.
  • Collaborating with both the team and others across the business (which is something you won’t even think about, because keeping those lines of communication and support open come naturally to you).
  • Being present and visible in our company Slack, keeping our energy and transparency high.
  • Keeping a finger on the pulse of both the hospitality industry and our competitive landscape.
  • Attend industry events and functions to build relationships and spread the Loaded brand.
  • Skills and experience we would love you to have

  • Previous experience in a SaaS sales role, with a primary focus on closing deals.
  • Proven ability to own and hit revenue targets.
  • Ability to clearly articulate your sales process and methods.
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills – both written and spoken – with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple but compelling and relatable way.
  • An engaging Zoom and phone manner, with a natural confidence to go with it.
  • Technical proficiency (you’ll be using a variety of tools, and the product you’ll be selling has a lot of depth).
  • Excellent listening skills, with both customers and your team.
  • Proven resilience and persistence.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools.
  • It’s not absolutely critical, but an understanding of hospitality management software and its impact on a business, experience in the hospitality industry, or a network of contacts in that world would be a BIG plus.

    Our head office is based in Queenstown, New Zealand, but we’re growing our customer base in Australia and we’re excited to grow a team there too. You’ll mix remote and co‑working space time, working alongside our other Sydney based Account Executive.>

    The Benefits to finish

    The package for the position is $90k - $120k uncapped OTE + Super, along with the opportunity to participate in our Employee Share Option Scheme.

    We don’t like to oversell the perks of the job, as we prefer people who genuinely love the satisfaction of the results hard work brings, but we’re a passionate team of people who are building a really great business in a wonderful industry.
