Qc Technician I (Afternoon Shift)

We are currently seeking a self-driven Quality Control Technician to join our team at our Mt Wellington, Auckland facility.

In this role, you are required to perform all raw materials and standardized test procedures, methods and review work daily.What you will doDaily routine testing of raw materials and finished products to ensure they conform to company standardsData entry of finished products, quality control results and maintenance of raw material and finished product lot details in company ERP systemInspection and release of incoming raw materials for use ensuring they comply with the company standardsAssisting in the investigation of production issues and customer complaintsEnsure GMP compliance and quality standard of the facility is maintainedPerform other duties that may be assigned to or required by the jobWhat you will bringBachelor's degree or equivalent education in Food Science, Food Technology or Technical Degree required.At least 1 - 2 years of experience in lab environment required.Possess working knowledge of wet chemistry techniques and some instrumentation skills.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize workload, attention to detail, and handle multiple tasks in an effective mannerBrings a positive attitude and works well in a team environmentWhat you will getOpportunity to collaborate with your colleagues, onsite 5 days per weekAn excellent salary, benefit offering and development opportunitiesA thorough and effective training experience during onboarding and beyondAbout SensientSensient Technologies Corporation is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and extracts.
