Yard Operator

In this role you will oversee all aspects of inwards and outwards yard operations, providing backup support to the Site Store person in managing raw materials and factory staging.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure truck loading is done in a safe and timely manner in accordance with company policy.

Ensure no trucks are received or dispatched without being checked and without the correct documentation, with the intent to hit DIFOTIS of 98% or higher.

Provide support to the factory to ensure manufactured pipe is checked and put away.

Ensure that all product is stored in a safe manner and in such a way as to maintain quality integrity.

Maintain good records and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Attributes

Previous experience in yard / warehousing operations.

Forklift (F) endorsement and Safety Certification.

Good decision making and value judgements, understanding the impacts of decisions.

Flexible, reliable and customer focused.

Communicates effectively with the wider team and operates in a respectful and supportive manner.

Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team alongside fellow technicians, plant operators, and site supervisor.
