About the role

We are on the lookout for a Pou Haapai Raraunga (Data and IT Support) to help keep our essential databases running smoothly – because when our systems work well, our kaimahi can focus on what matters most : caring for our whaanau.

The Pou Haapai Raraunga (Data and IT Support) will manage, maintain, and support core systems and databases across our organisation.

This role will help Raukura Hauora o Tainui achieve Mana Motuhake through building and maintaining a strong and agile data eco-system that mobilises Maori Data Sovereignty.

Flexibility is a must for this role as you may be required to travel to between Taamaki and Waikato when needed. This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday 8 : 30am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with our kaimahi and management to support accurate and timely data input to client management systems, including but not limited to Whanau Tahi Navigator (WTN)
• Manage login and licences across multiple systems
• Leading delivery of training sessions and workshops
• Assisting kaimahi and management to fulfil reporting requirements using a variety of databases
• Manage staff onboarding and offboarding across all systems, including management of user licences and logons across core databases
• Coordinate with external vendors for system updates, maintenance, and downtime communication
• Implement and monitor security measures to ensure protection of sensitive data
• Troubleshoot database / system issues and ensure minimal disruption
• Maintain up-to-date system documentation and process guides
• Willing and able to learn multiple databases in a dynamic data environment
• Support accurate, timely and relevant data input by kaimahi across core data system
