Yard Operator

In this role you will oversee all aspects of inwards and outwards yard operations, providing backup support to the Site Store person in managing raw materials and factory staging.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure truck loading is done in a safe and timely manner in accordance with company policyEnsure no trucks are received or despatched without being checked and without the correct documentation being carried out with the intent to hit DIFOTIS of 98% or higherProvide support to the factory to ensure manufactured pipe is checked and put awayEnsure that all product is stored in a safe manner and in such a way as to maintain quality integrityMaintain good records and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.Key AttributesPrevious experience in yard / warehousing operationsForklift (F) endorsement and Safety CertificationGood decision making and value judgements, understanding the impacts of decisionsFlexible, reliable and customer focused.

Communicates effectively with the wider team and operates in a respectful and supportive manner.Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team alongside fellow technicians, plant operators, and site supervisorWaters & Farr are committed to high levels of health and safety.

Therefore, all candidates will be expected to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screen, along with satisfactorily passing a criminal history check.

You will also need the legal right to work in NZ.
