Senior Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate senior teacher to guide our teaching team and provide exceptional early childhood education in a nurturing and culturally responsive environment to lead and inspire.About usOur centre is a small, family-oriented, well-established Early Learning Centre serving New Lynn and surrounding community for more than 20 years committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education where tamariki thrive.

We are licensed to teach up to 28 children, aged 2 to 5 years.About the roleAs senior lead teacher, you will lead a team of passionate educators, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning practices.

You will shape the educational experiences of our young learners, strengthen community connections, and uphold the highest standards in curriculum implementation and compliance.Key responsibilities : Lead and mentor a team of teachers, fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.Implement and maintain high-quality early childhood education programmes that align with Te Whariki.Build and maintain strong relationships with tamariki, whanau, and the local community.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and policies.Actively contribute to the centre's continuous improvement and professional development initiatives.What we're looking for : A qualified and registered ECE teacher with a current practicing certificate.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in established centres, with proven leadership abilities.Strong knowledge of Te Whariki and a commitment to culturally responsive teaching practices.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships and passion for creating high-quality learning environment.What we offer : A supportive and collaborative team environment.Competitive salary with extended pay parity.Professional development and career growth opportunities.If you are ready to take on a leadership role and make a meaningful difference in the lives of tamariki, we would love to hear from you!
