Senior Data and AI Analyst

As a leader in data, analytics and AI for 30 years, Datamine is seeking a candidate to join our Data Analyst team to help deliver analytical solutions to our clients’ problems. Within this exciting role you will deliver insights to support client decision making, and test their hypothesis about what might be happening within their business or market.

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our team with the goal of designing, delivering and supporting analytical solutions to clients.

This role is perfect for an experienced analyst who’s skilled at solving client problems, and is able to support and develop junior members of the team. You’ll work on a variety of projects supporting internal and client ambitions; problem-solving and continual improvement must be demonstrable skills you bring to the role.

What a day may look like :

• Working with the customer service, analyst, and data engineering / operations team to solve and implement solutions to client problems
• Working in a project team to plan, build, test and roll out data-based, analytical and AI solutions
• Working with your team to interpret results and enable Datamine’s clients to leverage findings to maximise value
• Collaborating with clients to understand challenges and support new and existing solutions
• Working pragmatically to deliver the right outcome for the client’s business and problem
• Contributing your opinion and expertise into a solution
• Coaching other analysts, supporting team problem solving
• Ensuring projects are accurate and delivered on time
• Presenting to the business on the results of your project
• Pitching in at team meetings and contributing to the team achieving its goals
• Communicating with the Client Services team regarding progress on projects and any potential issues
• Working with your direct team, and the wider Datamine team to constantly learn and improve while getting constructive feedback along the way
