Responsibilities

• Rebuilds and refurbishes frames, housings and similar structures by forming, straightening and reshaping existing steel sub-components and / or removal and replacement of details worn or damaged beyond reuse
• Manufactures new frames, housings and similar structural sub-components using new parts and materials
• Utilizes torches, MIG, TIG, Carbon-Arc, Gas Shielded Arc, and other gas welding equipment in conjunction with knowledge and experience in welding techniques and metal characteristics to perform job duties
• Perform casual mechanical assembly on machine rebuilds (basic tasks not requiring specialized mechanical training or technical expertise)
• Operate overhead and jib cranes, fork trucks and powered hand tools
• Operate Iron Worker, brake press and various sized positioners
• Operate Boretech welding machine and fixtures
