The Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Commercial provides strategic financial leadership and commercial insight that supports decision-making across the organisation.
This role leads Ravensdown's budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis processes, ensuring that financial and operational plans are robust, realistic and aligned with strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities include :
Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting processes and supporting strategic planning.
Developing financial models, pricing frameworks, and investment assessments.
Providing analysis and insight to inform pricing, profitability, and performance improvement.
Supporting capital investment decisions, mergers, partnerships and strategic initiatives.
Acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership team, driving commercial discipline across the organisation.
About You
You'll be an experienced commercial finance professional who brings both analytical rigour and strategic perspective.
Confident in engaging at all levels, you'll enjoy influencing decision-making and driving value through insight.
To succeed in this role, you'll demonstrate :
A tertiary qualification in finance and / or accounting (CA preferred).
Proven experience in commercial finance, financial planning, or business analysis within a complex environment.
You may have a background in corporate finance.
Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and business case development capability.
The ability to interpret and communicate financial insight to influence strategic and operational outcomes.
A proactive, collaborative and commercially minded approach.
This role combines the need for strong stakeholder engagement with deep commercial capability.
