Fullstack Developer (Backend focus)

remote type : Remote Role As a Full Stack Developer at BlinkPay, you'll focus primarily on building robust, scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Framework while having opportunities to work across our entire stack. You'll be developing APIs, integrating with banking systems, and implementing Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services with Python. While most of your time will be spent on backend development, you'll also have the chance to work with our frontend applications built with NodeJS / Vue based on your experience and interest. The ideal candidate is someone who's comfortable with rapid development cycles, has a strong foundation in backend technologies and API design, and can adapt to new technical challenges.

• Role Responsibilities
• Required Experience & Qualifications
• 6+ years of software development experience in dynamic environments
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Experience with REST API design and implementation
• Proficiency in Python, particularly for service development
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Proficient with Git version control and CI / CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines experience a plus)
• Solid problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Preferred Experience & Qualifications
• Experience with payment systems, open banking, or fintech industry
• Knowledge of backend and frontend technologies
• Experience with Docker and containerisation
• Experience with API testing frameworks and documentation tools
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and observability tools
