About the role
This role provides medical secretarial / transcription services and administrative support for the Southern Blood and Cancer Service.
You will ensure that patient information is quickly available to the clinical teams involved in the patient's care, and be efficient in time and resource for the department.
Our ideal candidate will be available Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Exact working hours will be discussed and negotiated with the successful candidate.

As you'll be dealing with patient information, it is essential that you show us you have an eye for accuracy and are confident around computer systems.
This position carries a varied workload that requires you to work with different specialties, and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines is vital.
Our ideal candidate will be both customer and patient focused.
You will be liaising with other hospitals, specialists and health providers to get the best outcome for patients, and accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
This is a busy and varied role.
