We have a vibrant team, who work across the full remit of Medical Imaging specialties which include CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and General X-Ray.
Opportunities are available for those with skills in the modalities, Ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and CT.
If not, regular opportunities for modality training arise.

About us
Fine tune your skills using our trusted equipment - we are predominantly a Philips department, with the general department being completely digital.
Our department provides training to Radiology students from Ara so on the job teaching and supervision will be a part of your new role.
A modern work environment, Southland Hospital was completely rebuilt to ensure purpose fit and efficient patient flow in 2004.
We work a rotating shift roster, ensuring a consistent service to the Southland community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Salary range
This role belongs to the APEX / DHBs Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($77,087 p.a) and Step 7 ($107,600 p.a pro-rata) of the Medical Imaging Technologists scale.
