Simulation Lead - Quality and Patient Safety - Clinical Leadership (Fixed Term)

About the Role
We have a fixed term or secondment opportunity for Simulation Lead within the Quality and Patient Safety team in Clinical Leadership. The Simulation Lead role will report to the National Quality and Patient Safety Manager and will contribute to the development and implementation of Health NZ's national simulation strategy, as outlined in the Health Workforce Plan 2024–2027, including the development of regional simulation hubs and reducing inequities in simulation training provision.
You will be responsible for leading the Simulation Network to ensure collaborative working in development of the national simulation workplan. They work with the simulation teams across the motu, to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality patient care to achieve Health NZ goals.
About the Team / Service / Location
The Simulation Lead will provide simulation expertise, and develop advice, briefings and papers for the Executive Leadership Team. The role will work alongside other members the national QPS team and Office of the Chief Clinical Officer (OCCO). This role will work closely with the QPS Senior Leadership Team
