We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our general practice nursing team, working at our Grafton and City Campus. Our clinics specifically support our students and are not open to the general public. We are also open to appointing a Senior Practice Nurse , so if this is of interest to you, please feel free to reach out to discuss the role.
Ideally, we are looking for a nurse with experience of working in a multidisciplinary health setting with proven clinical experience with young adults and diverse communities. This would be a great role for someone with an interest in sexual health, mental health, and a supporting wellness approach.
This is a part-time ( hours per week), permanent position.
Work Monday-Wednesday with hours rostered between 08 : 30 to 17 : 00 , working an occasional late shift from 10 : 30 to 18 : 30 . There is no weekend work in this role.
We offer a competitive salary which is bolstered by our Kiwi Saver / Unisaver contributions which can match up to of your salary. On top of this, we also have 25 days of annual leave a year (pro rata for part time staff), with a Christmas shutdown to ensure we all get a good summer break.

You will join an established team of more than ten nurses managed by the Nurse Team Leader and supported by an effective administrative team. Our unit sits within Campus Life, which is a large service division that supports an engaging and inclusive campus experience for students at the University of Auckland.

Qualifications
He kōrero mōu | About you
To succeed in this role, you will be a registered nurse interested in sexual health, mental health, and ideally experienced within a general practice. You will be motivated to provide quality service and enjoy working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve this. It is important that you have an Independent Authorised Vaccinator Certificate or be willing to take the training course to be qualified.
