Westlake Boys High School is looking to employ a teacher who can teach English to junior and senior students.

Westlake Boys High School is a state secondary school in Forrest Hill on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. We have achieved huge successes in sport, music and in the classroom. We have consistently been the top achieving school academically in New Zealand. 2024 Scholarship results were the highest of any New Zealand school ever, and it is the third year in a row that we have achieved at the top level.

Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teacher's Collective Agreement (STCA)Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (2022–2025). The base salary for trained and registered teachers currently ranges from NZD61,329 to NZD103,086, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.

Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment by Education Payroll once a role is confirmed.
