Pakuranga College is a large (2,200+ students), coeducational, culturally diverse secondary school located in Pakuranga, East Auckland.
Pakuranga College has an extensive science programme with a high performing and well-established science faculty.
We are seeking a head of physics to lead a team of 5 teachers in our successful Physics programme including scholarship Physics.
The successful candidate will be an aspiring leader and teacher, with sound curriculum knowledge and a forward-thinking approach.
You will teach junior Science, Y11 and NCEA Physics with the oversight of scholarship Physics.
The successful candidate will demonstrate :
A strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum in Science and Physics.
Willingness to work and lead collaboratively within a team environment.
The ability to connect with and inspire a diverse range of learners.
Be willing to embrace our digital learning environment and to contribute to the active co-curricular life of the school.
