Overview : Join a leading New Zealand enterprise and play a pivotal role in shaping their data and AI landscape. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines, AI solutions, and reusable data products that enable real-time analytics and AI-driven insights.

• Lead the design and development of efficient, reusable data pipelines and core data products.
• Deliver advanced analytics and AI / ML solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Shape and implement Generative AI initiatives in collaboration with technology and delivery teams.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Build self-service tools empowering business users with trusted, high-value data.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and introduce innovative solutions across the data landscape.

Full-time role, Competitive daily / hourly rate, ASAP start, 6-month initial contract length (ext. possible up to 12 months), bi-monthly pay.

Note : Company offices are based in Auckland CBD. Hybrid working is available, typically 3 x days in the office & 2 x days working from home.
