Industrial Site Installation Fitters X 2

Full-Time | Large-Scale Projects | Nationwide TravelPW Engineering is seeking two experienced Industrial Site Installation Fitters to join our team, working on some of New Zealand's largest industrial installation projects.

These roles involve extended project work (up to 3 months at a time) at major sites nationwide.

You'll typically be away during the week and home on weekends.

When you're not away you will be located in our workshop based in Mosgiel, Otago.About the roleYou'll be a key part of our site installation team, leading and delivering large-scale industrial plant and equipment installations.

This role requires not just hands-on mechanical expertise but also the ability to take charge of a team on-site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.What you'll do : Lead and carry out large-scale industrial plant installationsOversee site teams to ensure safe and efficient project deliveryPerform mechanical fitting, alignment, and assembly tasksWork safely at heights and around cranes during heavy lifts and installationsInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot complex machineryRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsWhat you'll bring : Engineering trade qualification (or proven industrial experience)Solid experience in industrial maintenance and large-scale installationsConfidence in leading a team on-siteExperience working at heights and with cranes (certification an advantage)Strong problem-solving and hands-on technical skillsFlexibility to travel nationwide and commit to extended projectsWhy join us?
