- We now have a vacancy for a self-starting, experienced appliance service tech for
- West Auckland
- region providing technical expertise to our valued customers. Our Customer Service Technicians perform service calls and repairs of our products in our customer homes providing "Best in Class" customer service.We recognise the importance of ongoing training and development, and you will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge with others in the wider team. - Days and Work Hours :
- Your Key Responsibilities :
- Repair and fully test the operation of the product ensuring full customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain superior product knowledge across all product lines through all training media, service manuals and training sessions.
- Complete all paperwork and documents related to service work and cash collection.
- Maintain and manage spare parts inventory.
- What you will need :
- Essential
- experience in appliance repair and troubleshooting
- Essential :
- Relevant
- New Zealand Electrical Qualifications –
- minimum
- EASQ (Electrical Appliance Serviceperson Qualified)
- Essential
- registered Electrical Licence (GAS licence- advantageous)
- Desirable
- : Experience with cookware diagnostics and repair
- Preferred
- : Hands-on experience in electrical fault diagnosis and fixing
- Strong communication skills and strong PC skills
- Ability to provide premium customer service
- Clean criminal history and driver’s license
- Must be physically fit and healthy - a pre-employment medical will be conducted
- Open to relocation
- after completing a 3–6 month induction and training period
