Overview
You will be joining our team at Howick and Pakuranga Leisure Centre whose main goal is to inspire Aucklanders to be more active.
You only get one chance to make a fantastic first impression and our Customer Support Team are the people that make it happen when Aucklanders visit our Centres.
Responsibilities
Working as a Customer Support Representative, right from the first smile you will be responsible for ensuring an effective and professional frontline service to our diverse customer base, dealing with a wide range of inquiries, both face-to-face and on the phone.
You will find that no day is the same!
Tuesdays
Fridays 9.00am –
Saturdays 9.00am – 2.00pm (will be working between Howick and Pakuranga Leisure Centre)
Sundays
Our centre operates 7 days a week from 7.30am - 6.30pm, flexibility will be key for the successful applicant as more shifts may become available.

You will have proven administration and communication skills, as well as the ability to use your initiative to resolve problems and satisfy your customers' needs.
You're outgoing and enthusiastic nature, combined with a passion for delivering excellence in customer service, is the key to success in this role.
Training & Progression
We aim to upskill and progress your career, so if you wish to train and take on other functions within our centres such as Fitness Instructor or Recreation Assistant opportunity is there!
As a Team member, you can also pick up extra shifts if you are hired into a part-time position, both in the centre you were first hired to work in, or others.

Employment Conditions
Auckland Council is committed to the protection and wellbeing of children.
This role is classified as a Children's Worker role under the Vulnerable Children Act
As such applicants will be required to undergo police vetting prior to commencing employment.
This position is also deemed a safety sensitive position and will require pre-employment drug testing.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory police check.
