Key operational position within Immigration New Zealand (INZ) developing and coordinating operational and strategic workforce planning initiatives.
We have a great opportunity for an exceptional Senior Workforce Planner to join the INZ Planning team. We are looking for someone who loves being part of a diverse team of strategic, operational and business planners.
This role may appeal to someone with a data analytics background who is keen to apply those skills to workforce planning.
This role is a key operational position within the team and includes development of workforce planning methodologies and strategic direction and advise.
You will undertake workforce planning for INZ, ensuring day to day and strategic longer-term planning aligns with INZ’s collective areas of focus or operationalisation of policy changes.
This is a fast-paced critical role within the INZ Planning team as our people are at the core of everything we plan for and do.
A well understood workforce is vital to good decision making and you would be integral to telling that story.

A key part of the role is building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, increasing the impact of the COOI branch through our service-based approach assisting other Branches of INZ to achieve their Business Planning and Operational objectives.
Working in our team, you will :
Report to the Manager Planning, and work in a team of three Principal Advisors, one Senior Advisor and three Workforce Planners.
Provide well informed workforce planning advice and maintain a wide range of planning artefacts that are relied on within the business.
Be able to make the complex simple, articulate and illustrate your advice clearly.

Eligibility : You must hold New Zealand citizenship or a New Zealand Permanent Residence class visa.
