Job descriptionAssist the Food Services Team Leader to prepare and serve meals. Prepare morning and afternoon tea, as well as daily meals. Ensure meals are served at appropriate size and temperature. Maintain daily food and fridge temperature checks. Operate within food hygiene standards and protocols. Deliver the highest standard of cleaning services within the home. Work independently but also be part of a team. Follow direction from the Senior Housekeeper. Follow cleaning protocols that support good infection control. Perform routine laundry duties and keep documents. Previous experience in residential or hospital laundry. Knowledge of commercial cleaning processes. Operate commercial laundry machines and assist with washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering clothing. Intake 1 : December 2025 Intake 2 : March 2026 Intake 3 : June 2026 Intake 4 : September 2026 Good communication skills and a person‑centred approach. High standards of personal hygiene and appearance. Enthusiastic, patient, well organised with great interpersonal skills. Willing to work across our Wellington Homes including Cashmere, Huntleigh, Longview and Woburn. Must reside in Wellington Region. Full training and support, quick orientation. Gain qualifications while you work. Staff well‑being calendar. Supportive team environment. No evenings or late nights in the kitchen.
