About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join our Information Services team at Hutt City Council. This role plays a key part in maintaining and supporting the Council’s IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and security across our systems and devices. You’ll provide Level 2 technical support, administer databases and hybrid systems, and contribute to projects that improve our digital environment. Working from our Laings Road offices in Lower Hutt, you’ll collaborate with a supportive, forward-thinking team dedicated to enabling great outcomes for our community.
About You
You’re a capable IT professional with strong experience in systems administration and desktop support. You enjoy problem-solving, working collaboratively, and continually improving how things are done. You’ll bring a customer‑focused approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support both technical and non‑technical users effectively.
You Will Have
(Tertiary study or industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Systems Administrator would be advantageous.)
