Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - Nature of the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial & Systems Accountant to join our Strategy, Capability & Performance Group. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of ENZ through effective accounting, robust systems, and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee core accounting processes such as month‑end close, general ledger and fixed asset management, cash flow forecasting, tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Support audits, maintain banking relationships, and develop tools and processes that enhance ENZ’s financial capability.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
