Synapsys solves people and process challenges for a wide range of Government, corporate and education sector clients across an incredibly diverse range of areas from health through construction and infrastructure to professional services. As a key member of the Technology Services team, you'll work to ensure our clients' technology systems are robust, innovative, and change the game for their organisation.

We are looking for a Full stack PHP Developer to join our team and help us deliver robust, scalable, and engaging technology solutions. Most of your work will be on the Moodle and Totara LMS platforms, combining hands-on development with support and DevOps responsibilities to keep our platforms secure, performant, and future-ready.

This role is suitable for someone who has at least 3 years experience, and is keen to have a voice in setting technology direction.

About you

You’re highly curious, technically meticulous, and have a get-stuff-done attitude. A commitment to a diverse, healthy workplace is essential; knowledge, and / or interest in Te Reo Māori would be very beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration

• Manage Totara and Moodle environments for optimal performance, scalability, and uptime.
• Apply updates, patches, and security fixes to ensure compliance and stability.
• Monitor system health, logs, and user activity for proactive issue resolution.
