Overview

Control Plane - Site Reliability Engineer (Hosted Infrastructure)

Elastic is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to help automate, scale, and improve the reliability of Elastic Cloud across multi-cloud infrastructure, IaC, and tooling. This role focuses on the complete lifecycle of hosts, from provisioning to termination, with emphasis on automation and reducing toil while improving reliability for customers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Applying software engineering methods to automate large-scale systems administration.
• Optimizing the lifecycle and reliability of compute across multiple cloud providers.
• Ensuring proactive monitoring and alerting to prevent incidents.
• Growing our global infrastructure by developing and maintaining software, tooling, and automations to meet scaling demands.
• Collaborating in an inclusive environment with a focus on Operational Excellence and constructive feedback.
• Being part of an on-call rotation to respond to operational needs and incidents.
