Job description

Full-time | registered or soon-to-be registered teacher | position available now

We are seeking a warm, nurturing, and heart‑centred kaiako to join our dedicated infants and toddlers team. This position is ideal for someone who has experience working with infants and toddlers, either through paid teaching roles or ECE practicum placements. Applicants must hold current teacher registration or be on track to receive it early next year.

You will join a passionate team of two other kaiako in our under‑twos environment, where leadership is collaborative and every voice is valued. Our under‑twos room has its own indoor and outdoor spaces designed to support calm, responsive care. The centre is licensed for 50 children and is made up of three separate learning spaces. While each room has its own identity, our centre deeply values whanaungatanga, as relationships flow across the centre, and every kaiako and tamaiti is known and welcomed.

  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
  • Reflects on their practice and contributes to a positive, connected culture
  • Is passionate about under‑two learning and uses this to create an environment that reflects its learners and their needs.
