We are delighted to be partnering with Corcoran French, a valued and long-standing member of the Canterbury and West Coast legal community, as we undertake a search for two new Solicitors to join their Christchurch based Commercial team due to growth.

The Roles

Concurrent with this period of reimagining and relocation, we're delighted to be bringing two new growth roles in their Commercial team to market.

• Senior Solicitor - Property / Commercial (2-4 Years PQE)

This role requires broad experience in both property and commercial legal work. Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of land law and subdivisions. Proven research and analytical ability as well as a particular interest or experience in local government work is highly desirable.

You'll work closely with Delys Brough and Shehan de Silva on a varied and interesting mix of matters, including regular involvement in local authority work, making this an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in a specialised and growing area.

We're particularly looking for robust commercial law experience across a range of matters as well as solid general property experience, including conveyancing and land-related transactions. Working closely with Shehan de Silva, and supervised by Stephen Jeffery, your expertise will be put to use across a range of commercial and property matters.
