Maruia Hot Springs is a serene and rejuvenating destination located in the heart of New Zealand's pristine wilderness. We are dedicated to providing our guests with a tranquil and luxurious experience, surrounded by nature's beauty. We are seeking a person who is passionate about creating healthy and creative dishes to complement our offering.

• planning menus
• estimating food and labour costs,
• ordering food supplies;
• monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• discussing food preparation issues with Managers
• Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
• demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
• preparing and cooking food
• explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
• may select and train staff
• may freeze and preserve foods.
• dessert making

Hours : 30-40 / week

Qualifications :

At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications. In some instances relevant experience and / or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.

Must enjoy Hot Springs and living in nature and have a genuine interest in well being. This is not just a job but a lifestyle. Experience in community living in remote areas is an advantage.
