LAME / AMEArdmoreAre you passionate about aviation and ready to take your aircraft maintenance career to new heights? Join our dedicated Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) team at Ardmore and play a key role in delivering critical maintenance services to the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) and civil aviation customers.The opportunityAs a LAME / AME, you will report to the Team Lead – Ardmore Maintenance and be responsible for executing high-quality technical maintenance, repair, and overhaul work in compliance with all applicable regulatory and organisational standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring airworthiness and timely service delivery, working closely with the MRO Planning team.This will include :

  • Perform aircraft and component maintenance, repairs, and overhauls to the highest standard.
  • Ensure compliance with CAANZ Part 145 and other relevant aviation legislation and standards.
  • Hold and maintain signatory responsibilities and applicable authorisations.
  • Collaborate effectively within the maintenance team to meet safety, quality, and performance objectives.About youTo be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment. The skills and experience best suited to this role include : Essential Experience & Knowledge :
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in a Maintenance Organisation environment.
  • Sound knowledge of aviation maintenance legislation and regulatory frameworks (e.g. NZCAA).Qualifications (one of the following) :
  • NZ-recognised Level 4 Aeronautical Engineering certificate.
  • Completion of technical training (ex-military personnel).
  • CAANZ Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.Skills & Abilities :
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems.
