Join Our Team

We have an opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic to join our busy depot team based at our Sulphur Point depot.

This is a diverse and challenging role which involves carrying out repairs, services, and maintenance on our heavy machinery such as container handlers, trucks, and other vehicles.

About The Role

This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.

Hours of work are 7.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 7.00am to 12.00pm Saturday.

Hourly Rate Will Be Based On Qualifications / experience.

Location : Sulphur Point, Tauranga

What You'll Do

Keep our fleet of trucks, container, handlers and plant machinery humming along smoothly

Tackle repairs, services and maintenance like a pro – Safely, efficiently.

Share your wisdom with apprentices and drivers.

Be a team player and pitch in for 24hr 'on call' rotations – Because breakdowns don't keep office hours!

What We Need

Experience with similar heavy machinery and hydraulics to our container handlers.

(If you can fix it, we want you!)

Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic diagrams (or have some understanding of electrics).

A New Zealand National Certificate in Automotive Heavy Engineering Level 4 preferred but not essential (or equivalent).

A full clean New Zealand Driver's License
