You will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable and well-maintained environment throughout their stay.This is a practical, fast-paced role that involves both preventative and reactive maintenance, daily plant checks, and close collaboration with other hotel departments to bring out-of-order rooms and spaces back online as quickly as possible.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with day-to-day maintenance operations across the hotel.Complete daily plant rounds, identifying and reporting any faults.Carry out maintenance on equipment and water reticulation systems.Ensure tools and equipment are used, maintained and stored safely.Record all maintenance tasks, repairs and follow-up actions in the BMS.Prioritise jobs to meet deadlines and respond to urgent requests.Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Front Office and other departments.QualificationsAbout YouAt least 12 months' experience in general building maintenanceExperience in a hotel, resort or hospitality setting is advantageousAbility to operate a range of equipment and small hand toolsBasic computer skillsGood written and spoken EnglishPhysically fit and comfortable with manual tasks (lifting, climbing ladders, kneeling, etc.)A proactive, service-oriented attitude with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently, prioritise tasks and show initiativeFlexibility to work a variety of shiftsA commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvementA trade qualification is beneficial but not requiredAdditional InformationWhy work for Accor?
