Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Activities Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a diverse range of recreational and diversional therapy programs tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and provide recreational and diversional therapy programs based on assessed individual resident needs.
Supervise volunteers, and entertainers on-site.
Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, staff, and health professionals.
Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during activities and outings.
Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Manage and order supplies as needed.
Participate in staff meetings and provide input into the development of care plans.
Qualifications
Qualification in Diversional Therapy would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
