Project Director Architecture – Wellington
Provide overall direction and leadership for successfully securing Architecture projects.
Undertake assigned Client Relationship Management (CRM) and business to support the growth of the Architecture sector.
Design leadership and overall project accountability as Project Director for selected commissions.
Work collaboratively in developing long-term strategic and annual business plans, in line with the Architecture and WSP's strategic objectives.
Support the Architecture management team in actively promoting WSP capability where opportunities exist, with the aim of creating and extending income streams for the wider WSP team.
Identify market opportunities and undertake marketing initiatives to develop new and existing business markets and promote WSP services to internal and external clients.
Lead preparation of bids and proposals.
Complete project profiles to support future work winning opportunities.
Develop a complete scope definition, identify changes to scope and implement actions to meet project objectives.
Ensure that these are communicated to the project team.
Communicate critical project information (briefs, deadlines, progress and client feedback) in an effective and timely manner.
Ensure that project-related quality assurance processes are carried out in a cost-effective manner.
This includes project technical reviews, technical verifications, approval to release, etc.
Complete monthly financial management processes are completed in a timely manner, including billing, monthly financial and progress reports, change management and monitoring project spend.
About you :
Relevant tertiary qualification
Strong market connections in New Zealand - particularly in Corrections
Proven experience in leading large scale architectural projects.
