This is an important role in our business, and you will contribute significantly to our Laundry line of business.
As our Product Manager, you will own a category / market and be responsible to :
Develop product strategy, roadmaps, and positioning, clearly articulating customer value proposition and competitive advantage.
Define and scope projects (alongside Product Development and the customer) to deliver differentiating innovation, products, and / or services to our B2B customers to maximise the profitability of the category in line with our company purpose & strategic business plan.
Engage, research, develop a deep understanding of, and build relationships with customers.Lead and participate in Voice of Customer research to inform existing and new products.
Lead and contribute to the creation of product and marketing collateral.
Own the product's requirements and its roadmap, keeping product viability, feasibility and desirability at the centre.
Provide commercial insights from data, industry trends and customer need, to build customer propositions into solutions which can be easily and effectively articulated and communicated to stakeholders.
Manage project financial analysis including return on investment, pricing strategy, project investment and own P&L delivery of your category in line with FPT budget.
Prepare, review / update and communicate the business case to SLT and key stakeholders.
You bring with you the following experience and technical skills :
5 years+ Product Management experience, working on technology products.
It is desirable to have experience with manufactured products.
Previous experience as a Senior level engineer, product designer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher - across multiple sectors, with high volume manufacturing - would be ideal.
A bachelor's degree.
Ideally this would be in Engineering Design,but the key skill is the proven ability to communicate with, understand and interpret technical information with engineers, designers, and company leaders in an effective and collaborative relationship.
A strong understanding of the techniques and methods of product discovery and product delivery.
Ability to understand and balance technical options and trade-offs.
Experience with Voice of Customer techniques, developing requirements / user cases, and pricing.Have exceptional communication skills, be a
storyteller
to explain the strategy through to the product and an influencer across the business.
In depth understanding of commercial models to support business cases, financial literacy to support forecasting and cost-benefit analyses.
