About this Role

Were looking for a skilled and compassionate General Radiologist to join our dedicated Radiology team at Waikato Hospital.

This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a service that makes a real difference in the lives of our patients and communities.

In this role, youll be interpreting and reporting a wide range of complex clinical casesCT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, and MRIacross both general and acute settings.

Subspecialty interests are supported and you will have the opportunity for further development.

You will participate in multidisciplinary meetings and play a key role in registrar education to help shape the ongoing development of excellence within our department.

Key responsibilities include :

Reporting radiologic studies with precision and careSupervising and mentoring registrarsActive participation in multidisciplinary team meetings

To be successful in this role, youll need :

Proven experience in a wide scope and across all modalities of diagnostic radiologyEligibility for registration in the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Scope of Practice with the Medical Council of New ZealandA subspecialty fellowship or strong interest in developing a subspecialty area
