About the role

Based at our Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Inventory Coordinator role is responsible for keeping the store and yard organized, assisting with accurate inventory records, supporting the operations team with stock pick-up and delivery and safe handling of heavy and oversized objects.

The key duties and responsibilities of this role also include :

Coordinating the receipt, storage and monitoring of stock movements.

Assist with warehouse stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies

Ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently to support smooth day-to-day operations.

Unloading, receipting, and storage of all inventory items and ensure the prepare inventory items for field crew allocation

Recording timely and accurate information within our accounting system

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise warehouse and yard efficiency.

To implement and maintain sound health and safety practices

About you

Previous experience in a warehouse / store, handling inventory and associated paperwork

IT skills, including previous use of ERP systems, Microsoft office suite.

A current fork hoist licence and desirable to have heavy forklift class license (18 tonne)

Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a cross-functional team.

Detail orientated with a focus on accuracy and consistent quality.

A strong commitment to Health and Safety and good knowledge of legislation and best practice.

Full class 1 driving licence essential, a class 2 is desirable
