Horticulture Response Operator

If you enjoy working outdoors, possess an awesome work ethic and have your full NZ drivers' licence, then this role would suit you! We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our Hastings team.

What does a Horticulture Response Operator role involve?

Supporting your team, you will be responsible for a range of duties; from planting, weeding, mulching and vegetation control tasks to setting up bollards, picnic tables, and park signs or sprucing up greenery and working on landscaping projects.

Who we are looking for

Ideally, we would love someone who has had experience in a similar role or previous experience in horticulture / landscaping / gardening. This role can be physically demanding, so physical fitness is needed. Other success factors include :

• A clean and current drivers' licence with the ability to drive a manual and tow a trailer
• Be a team player with a positive attitude - helping out your teammates needs to be second nature
• Proven experience adhering to health and safety procedures
• Self motivated with a strong desire to get the job done
