The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Christchurch based team in our Cash Services Division !

About the Role

As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of cash services – an essential function that remains operational even during business closures. Our division supports banks, businesses and commercial clients, ensuring reliable access to cash across the Christchurch region.

This is an afternoon shift position, with hours starting at 3 : 00 PM and finishing at close. Please note that the closing time is variable depending on operational requirements.

This is a physically active role that requires standing for long periods, lifting, and handling cash manually with machines in a secure, 24 / 7 monitored facility .

Key Responsibilities

• Packing, counting and verifying cash (both manually and using machinery)
• Working efficiently as part of a team to meet strict deadlines and targets
• Maintaining accuracy and focus in a fast-paced environment
