He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

Join Watercare's fantastic finance team!

Reporting to the Finance Business Improvement Manager, this role is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of month-end process and BU financial performance reporting.

You will assist with the monthly consolidation and elimination entries; and liaise / communicate with other BU analysts regularly about results. You will be responsible for the integrity of the financial ledger and facilitating the annual R&D credit claims review.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Providing effective and strategic business support across the Watercare business
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvements or cost-savings initiatives
  • Support Business Performance team to deliver finance goals and efficiencies
  • Lead Specific actions / Investigations with support from BPM's to deliver value-based outcomes

You enjoy a fast paced, professional environment. You have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and solid communication skills.

Your skills include :

  • CA / CPA qualification
  • 2 years' experience in a finance role
  • The ability to prioritise workload across multiple deadlines
  • You are a team player with an eagerness to learn and share knowledge
  • Exceptional relationship skills to engage with the wider business
